Colby & Jenn's Wedding in Julian, CA
This beautiful venue overlooks the Julian mountains filled with photogenic spots. Sacred Mountain is a family ranch hosting weddings and events on a mountaintop in Julian, CA. Each couple has the option of choosing which location they want for their wedding out of their several unique spaces within the ranch. My favorite part of the venue is all the options the ranch has to offer for the perfect photo, but it is up to the photographer or/and couple to decide where they want to be. A few locations have cabins amid tall trees providing different types of lights. I recommend couples and photographers choose one or two locations for golden hour photos - you will be limited by the distance it takes to get from one location to the other. At this wedding the distance was fairly minimal, as we were transported by a golf cart and it took about 5 minutes to get to the next location up a hill. In the gallery below you will see that we planned to be at the meadow and the sunset plateau for the sunset photos.
Colby and Jenn were such a lovely couple to photograph! I felt comfortable and free to shoot true to my style, and the shots below reflect that.
